    Accomplishments

    • Helped initiate a town tree canopy program to expand and replace aging trees
    • Proposed a continuation of the tree planting program
      • Plans for 25 new trees to strengthen the canopy
      • Currently assisting with grant-seeking to finance the program
    • Took part in organizing recurring litter cleanup and beautification events through the Sustainability Committee
      • Contributed to early beautification projects and zero-waste event efforts
      • Helped pave the way for the creation of today’s Beautification Committee
    • Supported adoption of updated building codes to improve energy efficiency and resilience
